Check out the Hungarian animated film based on the famous Toldi — VIDEO
On Wednesday, the trailer of the last film by the legendary cartoonist Marcell Jankovics, who died last year, was released. The animated film will debut in cinemas on 20 October.
According to the statement of the creators, the editing concept of the teaser was inspired by the rhythm of the Hungarian tradition of verbunk music. Verbunk music was meant to recruit, and that is what the trailer aims to achieve.
The narrative poem by János Arany is produced by Kecskemétfilm. They also made the famous Hungarian folk tales series. The animated film was made by 100 artists and took more than three years to complete. The film will premiere in Hungarian cinemas on 20 October, writes telex.hu.
